Laura Williams is a working artist and has held many creative jobs in various streams of visual communication. She has built props for Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Circus and Saturday Night Live and also developed proprietary digital content for AT&T. She has made costumes that have graced the stage of the Guggenheim Museum and built dioramas for the American Museum of Natural History. She is currently working as the art director for Algonquin Young Readers.

Laura Williams received her BFA from the University of Vermont and attended Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture. Her work has been published in Taiwan and Spain and her artwork has been shown across North Carolina, and in New York, Massachusetts, Colorado and Virginia.
